어느 날 편집한 영상을 렌더링 하던 중, 문제가 발생하였다. 이런 경우, 영상 자체가 재생되지 않음에도 불구하고, 화면에는 분할된 프레임과 라임 그린(R:1 G:137 B:1)계열의 플리커(flicker)가 나타났다. 이 작업은 디지털 알고리즘의 기계적 오류를 박제화한 일종의 표본에 해당한다.
