카메라 앞에서 독주를 하는 음악가이자 즉흥연주자인 제롬 노팅제는 레복스 B77 릴투릴 테입 레코더를 연주한다. 16mm 필름 릴의 지속 시간 동안 그는 녹음의 힘을 통해 복잡한 음향적 유기체에 생명력을 부여하고 변형시킨다. 그는 이때 마이크를 사용하는 수음, 전자기 소음, 그리고 무작위적 라디오 전파를 사용한다. 작가는 이러한 즉흥적 순간을 의도적으로 단순한 영화적 장치를 사용하여 포착하기로 결정하였다. 그리고 이러한 방법을 통해 교육적 측면을 무시하지 않으면서도 시적이고 섬세한 경험을 청중에게 제공하고 있다. 이 작품은 초상이자 움직임에 대한 연구이며, 또한 그 자체로 사운드 작업으로서 지속성을 갖는 매체에 기록되어 있다. 그것은 바로 전통적인 35mm 흑백필름 스트립이다.

Solo in front of the camera, the musician/improviser Jérôme Noetinger plays his reel to reel tape recorder, the Revox B77. For the duration of a 16mm film reel, he brings to life and manipulates a complex sonic organism through the power of recording - using microphonic captures, electromagnetic static, and random radio.

Stefano CANAPA decided to set down this improvised instant with a deliberately simple cinematic device, giving the spectator a poetic and delicate experience without neglecting a certain pedagogical aspect.

The film is at the same time a portrait, a study of movement, and a sound piece in its own right, fixed on a perennial support: a strip of traditional black and white 35mm film.
