영화는 중국 요리에 사용되는 향신료가 자라는 화려한 자연 풍경을 배경으로, 창의적이고 퀴어적이며 남성적인 몸매를 소개한다. 이 작품은 촬영된 퍼포먼스, CGI 애니메이션, 사운드 아트가 혼합된 작품이며 중국의 신화와 아시안 퀴어의 디아스포라적 관점에서 소속감을 끌어낸다. ' you must everywhere wander '는 초월적인 동성애 욕망, 이상적인 고향, 그리고 현실이 교차하는 지점이다. 우리는 우리가 먹는 것이며, 기억하는 것이고, 우리가 믿는 것이다. you must everywhere wander는 Quering Now와 Chinese Arts Now (CAN)의 의뢰를 받아 제작되었고, 영국 예술 위원회에서 제작을 지원했다

Showcasing an imaginative queer masculine body-scape, where the spices used in Chinese cooking grow as spectacular natural landscapes. This work is a hybrid of filmed performance, CGI animation and sound art. It draws on Chinese myth and a sense of belonging from an Asian queer diasporic perspective. ‘you must everywhere wander 你必顧盼’ is a meeting point of transgressive queer desire, a dream homeland and reality.
