<더 멀리 더 작은>은 인공적으로 조성된 환경에 무력하게 놓인 존재들의 탈주와 모험을 상상하며 제작한 영상이다. 누군가의 시각적 즐거움이나 감각적 유희를 위해 자본의 논리 속에서 만들어진 것들로부터 벗어나고자 했던 그들의 여정은 ‘바깥의 바깥’으로 계속 이어지고, 예상치 못한 장면들에 부딪치며 그들에게는 질문이 쌓여간다. 그들은 여전히 어딘가로 향하고 있을까. 작업은 이미지, 사운드, 텍스트를 통해 이러한 개체들의 상태와 생각, 의지와 행로에 시선을 줌으로써 그들의 감각을 영상 언어로 소환해보고자 한다.

<Further, Smaller> is a video produced by imagining the escape and adventure of certain beings helplessly held in an artificially constructed environment. Even after they escape from the conditions created in line with the capitalist rationale to satisfy others' visual or sensory pleasure, their journey continues to 'the outside of the outside'. As they face unexpected scenes, they have more questions pile up. Are they still heading somewhere? The work attempts to summon their senses through visual language by paying attention to the states, thoughts, wills, and the paths of these entities through images, sounds, and texts.
