몰른 호러는 우선적으로 영화에 다른 은유적 공포가 있는 텔레비전이라 할 수 있다. 4개의 손으로 채색한 필름 롤과 텔레비전을 촬영한 네거티브 이미지 필름을 한 데 겹친 후 편집을 했다. 우리의 광학 신경은 혼란스럽게 겹쳐진 이미지들이 움직이며 만드는 발광하는 빛의 괴기한 주입으로 최면상태와 유사하게 된다.

The primary Molten Horror is TV - though there are other horror metaphors in the film. Four superimposed rolls of hand-painted and bi-packed television negative imagery are edited so as to approximate the hypnagogic process whereby the optic nerves resist grotesque infusions of luminescent light.
