후쿠오카시에서 개최 된 3분간의 8mm 필름 작품을 모은 상영회 「퍼스널 포커스」(1984 년 5월4일~5일) 에 출품하기 위해 제작 되었다. 마츠모토가 보관하고 있었던 8mm필름을 디지털화 시켰다. 싱글 8mm 카메라의 자동노출기구에 의해 적정한 노출을 얻을 때까지 몇 초의 지연을 기록 한 짧은 샷의 변주로 구성되어있다. 어두운 곳을 향하고 있었던 카메라는 재빠른 움직임으로 밝은 곳으로 방향을 돌린다. 화면은 순간 노출 과다의 상태가 되어 버리지만, 자동 노출 기계가 작동하여 즉시 적정노출로 화면을 비춘다. 이 짧은 샷은 카메라 를 움직이는 각도를 조금씩 바꿔가며 전개된다.

It was produced to be exhibited at the “Personal Focus” (May 4-5, 1984), a three-minute, 8mm film screening held in Fukuoka. Digitized the original 8mm film that Matsumoto had been stored. Delay  Exposure consists of a short shot variant with a delay of several seconds until the 8mm camera's automatic exposure device gives adequate exposure. The camera, facing the dark, turns into the bright spot with quick movement. The image instantly becomes exposed to excessive exposure, but since the automatic exposure operates, it immediately illuminates the shot with proper exposure. This short sequence is developed by changing the angle of motion of the camera slightly.
