올해 처음 선보이는 한국비경쟁프로그램은 우리 영화제가 한국 실험영화의 지형을 더욱 깊이 있게 탐구하고자 하는 의지에서 출발했다. 경쟁부문의 선정 과정에서 만난 수많은 작품들은 각각 고유한 시선과 접근 방식으로 실험영화의 가능성을 확장해 나가고 있었다.

이 프로그램은 경쟁의 프레임을 벗어나 보다 자유롭고 포용적인 공간에서 다양한 실험영화 작품들을 소개하고자 한다. 한국 실험영화 생태계의 풍부함을 보여주고, 실험영화가 우리 시대 영화 문화에서 차지하는 위치를 새롭게 조명하는 것이 이 섹션의 핵심 목표다.

The Korean Non-Competition Program, introduced for the first time this year, stems from our festival's desire to delve deeper into the landscape of Korean experimental cinema. During the selection process for the competition sections, we encountered numerous works, each expanding the possibilities of experimental cinema with its unique perspectives and approaches.

This program aims to present a diverse range of experimental films outside the competitive frame, in a more free and inclusive space. Its core goal is to showcase the richness of the Korean experimental film ecosystem and to shed new light on the position that experimental cinema occupies within the film culture of our time.

Through this cautiously but eagerly initiated program, we hope that audiences will experience the present of Korean experimental cinema on a broader spectrum. With the spirit of exploration and creative freedom that experimental cinema embodies, we look forward to sharing this new journey with more people.
