Description

The video offers references to mythological images, the experience of the indoor-outdoor and the light relationship through moving image, sound and performance, as well as a new interpretation of the ways in which the cultural heritage of the iconic Danish architect Jørn Utzton can be experienced. In his summer house CAN LIS in Mallorca, Spain, the architect implemented the idea of a free-standing complex of buildings on the cliff side, paying special attention to the light, the continuity of the seascape and using materials typical of Balearic island construction. The video invites to experience CAN LIS as a space of feelings, which are connected by different characters in a cascade of audiovisual stories.

Eva Vēvere
Visual artist working in various media, including installation, process-based events, still and moving image. Since 2009 active with Poetic Robotism projects - a series of interactive installations and performances focusing on architecture of time and deconstruction of different aspects of life, connected both to the mundane reality and philosophic issues. In recent years, her exhibition activity has also included group shows at the Latvian National Museum of Art, annual Survival Kit festivals organized by the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art and experimental collaborations with professionals from the fields of contemporary dance and music.

Gudrun Holck
Gudrun Holck (Denmark) is working with various art forms based on vocals through her concept “Everything starts with Song”. In 2011 she created a 6-hours duration performance including own new compositions for The National Museum, Copenhagen. It was the start of her Song Installation concept “Set Sound To... xx“ in which she has now created and composed more than 10 art pieces including more than 100 performances. Gudrun Holck worked as a residency artist of the historic Christiansø Island in the middle of The Baltic Sea including seven different outdoor art performances pieces and concerts with multiple performances during two summer periods. Holck has released two music albums “Stærk” and “Muse” and a number of music films/videos. With her music she has performed in Mali, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Greenland, Sweden, Norway, Mexico, Bulgaria, Syria, Irak, Turkey, Russia.

구드룬 홀크(덴마크)는 "모든 것은 노래로 시작합니다"라는 컨셉을 통해 보컬을 기반으로 한 다양한 예술 형태로 작업하고 있다. 2011년에 그녀는 코펜하겐 국립 박물관을 위한 새로운 작품들을 포함하여 6시간 길이의 공연을 만들었다. 그녀가 지금 100회 이상의 공연을 포함하여 10개 이상의 예술 작품을 만들고 작곡한 그녀의 노래 설치 개념 "Set Sound To..."이 시작이었다. 구드룬 홀크는 발트해 한가운데 있는 역사적인 크리스티안소 섬에서 레지던시 작가로 활동했으며, 두 여름 기간 동안 7개의 다양한 야외 예술 공연 작품과 퍼포먼스가 포함된 콘서트를 발표했다. 홀크는 "Stærk"와 "Muse"라는 두 개의 음악 앨범과 다수의 뮤직 필름/비디오를 발표했다. 그녀의 음악으로 그녀는 말리, 나이지리아, 가나, 부르키나 파소, 그린란드, 스웨덴, 노르웨이, 멕시코, 불가리아, 시리아, 이라크, 터키, 러시아에서 공연했다.
