Description

I want to be a device that receives what I see without categorizing it into any order, without ranking it in any order, without ranking it higher or lower, and without associating it with my own feelings. "Accumulation of gaze" is a compilation of images that I have taken on a daily basis as a basic practice to approach my ideal device.

나는 내가 보는 것을 어떤 순서로 분류하지 않고, 어떤 순서로 순위를 매기지 않고, 내 감정과 연관시키지 않고 받아들이는 장치가 되고 싶다. “시선의 축적”은 이상적인 장치에 다가가기 위한 기본 실천으로 일상적으로 촬영한 이미지들을 모아놓은 것이다.

Bio

Born 1984 in Akita. Graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Art and Design.
She records and collects trivial scenes around her in various forms, and creates works by cutting them up. Her works take a wide variety of forms, including drawings, videos, sculptures, and installations. Major solo exhibitions include "love this world and sharing what I see." (2019, essential store, Osaka) (2019, Cale/FST, Tokyo), "GREY SCALE" (2015, KATA, Tokyo) (2017, Yamamoto Seika, Osaka), "BTW" (2015, LVDB BOOKS, Inc. Osaka), "UZU" (2012, CULTIVATE, Tokyo), "Light Cult" (2009, CULTIVATE, Tokyo), etc.

1984년 아키타현 출생. 다마 미술대학 조형학부 졸업. 주변의 소소한 풍경들을 다양한 형태로 기록하고 수집하며 이를 잘라내어 작품을 만든다.
